Mission Statement:
Holistic + Integrative = Total health!

Biological dentistry unites the best clinical practices and technologies of Western medicine with a wide array of practices beyond its horizon.  The mission of Arizona Biological Dentistry is to take a holistic and integrative approach to dentistry to provide each patient with the assurance that they will receive the highest level of quality care and expertise while addressing their dental needs as it relates to the impact of their total health.

Dr. Katie L Kindt

Born in South Bend, Indiana and raised in the northern suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, it was only natural that she became a HUGE Notre Dame football fan and CUBS baseball fan. Upon graduating from the University of Iowa in 1987 she began working at a private practice in Wilmette, Illinois. She then had the opportunity in 1998 to move to beautiful Carmel, California and then to San Francisco in 2007 where she received her AEGD (residency) at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A Dugoni School of Dentistry San Francisco. Her career then led her to practice in Marin County, San Anselmo in 2012 and then happily to Sedona, Arizona in 2019. With over 33 years experience, Dr. Kindt's desire is to create an integrated dental health experience for all her patients as a holistic, biological dentist and to become an integral part of the Sedona healthy community at large. Every patient treated by Dr. Kindt will be recognized and treated so that their experience at AZBD is the healthiest and best "whole body" dental experience that they have ever had. Dr. Kindt's hobbies include flying small planes (SEL), cycling, running, hiking, collecting boutique California Pinot Noirs, baking, gardening and rescue dogs. She has two German Wirehaired Pointers and a Vizsla that she loves to run around with at the park.

Tammy Mustaciola

Tammy began her dental industry experience as an assistant in 2009 and secured her Registered Dental Assistant Extended Functions II license from the Dental Board of California in 2014. As an extended function assistant, she is certified to finalize the restorative treatment performed by Dr. Kindt such as permanent fillings and crowns, and is known by her colleagues and patients as "The Artist". The reason she decided to enter into the industry was because she was always self conscious about her own smile growing up, and enjoys being able to have a hand in giving people the chance to love their teeth along with the self esteem they deserve when they smile. Tammy's hobbies are photography, chasing after her son while he avoids having his picture taken and spending time at the beach whenever she can.

Michael Mustaciola

Office Manager

Michael entered into the dental world as a sterilization technician to a multi-million dollar dental corporation in 2016. Michael worked his way up the ladder as a dental assistant and by 2018 became Office Manager and Treatment Coordinator of Northern Arizona Biological dentistry. Growing up in a medical family background, patient education and care has always been top priority. Every time Michael has the opportunity to assist a patient with the financial help they need, he feels as if his job for the community has succeeded. Michael enjoys hiking and almost anything outdoors as well as most sports, especially the San Francisco Giants baseball and 49ers football. He is also a huge history fanatic... ask him anything.

Noel Ballet Luce

Back Office Manager/ Lead Dental Assistant

Noel earned her Registered Dental Assistant license from the Dental Board of California in 2011. With special interest in orthodontics she became the lead orthodontic assistant in 2015 to a multi-million dollar dental corporation. Upon moving to Arizona in 2018, Noel became the Back Office Manager and Lead Dental Assistant to Northern Arizona Biological Dentistry in Flagstaff. She then furthered her education by becoming an MRC Certified Myofunctional Therapist. Noel's expanded education is coupled with a fierce dedication to patient care. In her understanding of the importance of "never stop learning", it is her privilege to provide education and knowledge to the patients of AZBD and to meet their needs wherever they are in their own holistic journey. Noel's interests include ballet and the arts, line dancing, archery, other outdoor sports and hiking. She is a fan of the San Francisco Giants baseball, 49er football and San Jose Sharks hockey.
